Fire Damper

A ductwork fire damper is a safety device designed to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke through ventilation and ductwork systems. Installed within ductwork where it passes through fire-rated walls, floors or partitions, the damper automatically closes when exposed to high temperatures, helping to maintain fire compartmentation and slow the movement of flames.
